Replacing a Sliding closet door!

"Ugly, dangerous, sharp, crappy, non-standard size (so you can't replace it easily), always coming off the tracks, hard to open and close, and it blocks the whole view into the closet."

That’s what my client said when I asked why they wanted to ditch their old sliding closet doors.

So that’s exactly what we did. I tore out the old setup, framed in a bulkhead with drywall (the original doors went floor to ceiling), and installed these clean shaker-style double doors.

Now the closet is actually nice to use. No more wrestling with doors just to grab a shirt. Open them up and the whole space is right there—like a mini walk-in.
